"Hands On" Training

SAJE Vital Signs has skillfully modified standard First Aid and CPR courses so that each group of participants is trained based on its individual needs. For example, in the CPR course specific to Dental Offices, the participants are taught how to perform CPR in a dentist's chair. And, for Parents, the emphasis of the CPR course is child and infant emergencies.

Our First Aid Courses have been approved by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care as equivalent to the current First Aid Certificates that are designed under the Health Protection and Promotion Act.

SAJE Vital Signs standard training courses are based on these two generally available courses:

• First Aid Training provides limited care for an illness or injury, until more trained personel arrive, or the illness or injury is appropriately dealt with. First Aid generally consists of series of simple techniques, that an individual is trained to perform with minimal equipment. Read more...
• Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) Training is used for a victim of cardiac arrest. CPR is unlikely to restart the heart, but rather its purpose is to maintain a flow of oxygenated blood to the brain and the heart, thereby delaying tissue death and extending the brief window of opportunity for a successful resuscitation without permanent brain damage.
