Specialized Training for
Dental Offices

The specialized Dental Office courses teach dental professionals how to deal with specific emergency situations that may occur in their dental office. Depending on the course, the participants are taught how to perform CPR in a dental chair, how to relieve a choking patient as well as how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED).

Course 3  :  Dental Emergency First Aid

This Emergency First Aid Course provides emergency response training in many difficult and potentially life- threatening scenarious. You will learn:

• — how to do CPR in a dental chair;
• — how to treat emergencies such as heart attack, stroke and choking;
• — how to use of emergency equipment such as the Big Valve Mask (BVM);
• — Supplemental Oxygen and Team Response™ Training;
• — Office emergency protocol;
• — how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED);

The course may be taught in your office, allowing your staff the opportunity to practice within their work environment.
