Specialized Training for the
Workplace
Workplace Courses are modified to meet the needs of each group of participants and can be held during regularly work hours over a period of one or more days or on a weekend. Each course consists of lecture and practice sessions as well as written tests.
Standard First Aid with CPR 'C' and WHMIS Training
The Standard First Aid course covers all the topics in the Emergency First Aid with CPR 'B' as well as the following specific topics:
- — Adult, Child and Infant CPR;
- — Adult, Child and Infant Choking Response;
- — Secondary Survey;
- — Musculoskeletal Injuries;
- — Spinal precautions;
- — Soft Tissue Injuries (bruises, burns, and frostbite, etc) ;
- — Heat and cold emergencies;
- — Poisons;
- — WHMIS Training;
