- Preparing for Emergencies
- The Role of the First Aider: Legal aspects, prevention of disease transmission, responsibilities of the first aider, coping with a traumatic event, crisis intervention and protecting oneself
- The Emergency Medical Services System: When and how to call EMS, interaction with EMS
- Basic Anatomy and Physiology: Body systems
- Primary and Secondary Assessment: Recovery position, when & how to use
- Emergency Scene Management
- Assessment and Monitoring of Basic Vital Signs
- Respiratory Emergencies: Basic respiratory system, anatomy, management of airways, resuscitation, airway obstruction, conscious and unconscious adults, prevention, recognition & treatment
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (includes barrier devices): Adult, including the use of AED.

CPR C w/ AED:
Designed for individuals who require comprehensive First Aid and CPR training for the workplace, school, or personal knowledge. This course prepares participants to respond to medical emergencies involving adults, children, and infants, including cardiac arrest and choking situations.
BLS-CPR or BLS w/ AED:
Intended for for healthcare providers and emergency responders. The course focuses on rapid response to emergencies, including professional-level team-based resuscitation.

Blended courses have two components you need to pass:
online component and in-person training.
Here is how it works:
- Purchase the course.
Use the dropdown menu to choose the course you need, then use the “Enrol Now” button in this page. This will take you to the checkout page where you will be creating an account with us and paying for the course. If you have an existing account, please login to your account first. - Finish the online component
Go to “My Enrolled Courses” and look for your blended course. You can resume your progress anytime and you can log in and out as many times as you need to. You don’t need to finish the course in one session. - Get your certificate of online completion
At the end of the online component is a final written test. Finish it to get your certificate of online completion. - Attend your in-person training (check your training date)
Check your purchase receipt for your in-person training date, as well as calendar notifications sent via email at the time of course purchase. - Download and/or Print your certificate.
After you have passed both your online and in-person trainings, you will receive a digital copy of your final certificate via email which you can print out. You can also download the certificate under
“My Certificates” → “Final Certificate”.
