INFANT & CHILD CPR FAMILY TRAINING
The Infant and Child CPR Training Course has been developed for parents or caregivers of infants and young children. Select members of the SAJE Vital Signs Team teach these Infant and Child First Aid and CPR courses in Hospitals and Intensive Care Units for a few hours during the week or on a weekend. We also offer three-hour interactive workshops with live instructors online, so you can be properly trained from the comforts of your home, anywhere in the world.
We are currently running courses at SICK KIDS HOSPITAL as well as WOMEN’S COLLEGE HOSPITAL in Toronto. If you are interested in a different time or place for Infant / Child CPR classes near you, contact us and we will do our best to arrange that for you. The Infant and Child First Aid and CPR Course includes the following topics:
— Emergency Scene Management and Awareness
— General Safety for Children/Infants
— Critical Airway, Breathing and Circulation Emergencies
— Basic Airway Management (Child/Infant)
— Basic Circulation Management or CPR (Child/Infant)
— Automated External Defibrillators (AED) and Children/Infants
— Car Seat Safety
— Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS)
